Go!
I talk of Christiano Ronaldo’s summer saga of “will he play for Uited or Real next season”. Yes he’s a bastard good player, but I’m fed up of his arrogance, his “I so good, I play well” and his, erm, arrogance.
One thing I would like to see, if a player “commits his future” to a club by signing an extended deal (in Ronnie’s case, his last until 2012), surely it should be the player who buys themselves out of the contract. Wouldn’t that perhaps make them think twice about making empty promises? That’s what hapens in the real world – if you want out of a contract you have to take a hit. But, oh yes, I forget, please excuse me, footballers don’t want to be a part of the real world – just the Real world!!!
